The Lions Club of Geneva announces Winners of the 2008 “Lucky 13” Raffle for $10,000.

First prize is $10,000 cash.  2nd prize is $2500 cash.  There are 10 3rd place prizes of $250 cash each.  The drawing was held June 20th at center stage during Swedish Days.

Proceeds from the raffle will go to help the many causes that the Lions support.  They include Fox Valley Hospice, Ski for Sight, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Camp Lions, Local Eyeglass recycling Program, Local Hearing and Eye screenings, Tri City Family Services, Hadley School for the blind, 3 scholarships, as well as many other institutions that help in preventing and eradicating blindness and hearing loss in the Tri-City Area.

The Geneva Lions Club is a service club of business professionals and community leaders that meets  weekly at noon at the Mill Race Inn.  For information regarding the Lions Club, contact President John Martin at 630-232-7786 or Lion Bob Goodfellow at  630-406-1337.
