The mission and purpose of the Geneva Lions Club is consistent with the goals of Lions of Illinois and Lions International. Our club raises money primarily for the benefit persons who suffer from sight and/or hearing disabilities. Geneva Lions “We Serve” Foundation donates 100% of its net proceeds to charitable cause mainly in its greater St. Charles and Geneva service area. A smaller percentage of funds is donated to local community organizations. The yearly budget typically goes to for the following:


American Diabetes Association
Association of Individual Development – assistance for challenged individuals with vision needs
Spectrios Institute – Vision services and devices for children
Eye exams and glasses for local residents – referred through Carroll Tower, Lazarus House, Salvation Army & Tri-City Health Partnership
Geneva History Center – for sound system
Hearing Aid Program
Lions Club International Foundation
Lions of Illinois Foundation for Camp Lions – a speciality camp for sight impaired children
Tri-City Health Partnership – diabetic vision/hearing services
Waubonsee Foundation – scholarships for vision or hearing impaired
