On December 11, 2017, the Geneva Lions Club held their Annual Christmas Dinner at the Mill Creek Golf Course. Special guests of the Lions at this year’s dinner were the winners, and their spouses, of the 2017 Geneva Lions “Chance for Sight” Raffle. The winning tickets were drawn by Leos at the Lions Annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa held at Geneva High School on Saturday, December 4, 2017. The Leos are the high school student organization of the Lions. Pictured is Geneva Lions’ President Brad Arnold presenting the “winning checks” at the event. Due to the generous support of the citizens of Geneva, St. Charles and surrounding communities, this year’s Raffle set an all-time record in sales, enabling the Geneva Lions to strengthen their efforts in supporting those they serve. The Geneva Lions have been serving the needs of citizens of St. Charles and Geneva for 80 years, making it the oldest civic Club in those two cities.
